I've
been performing for over 40 years at
this point. Mostly, I have played and sung "folk" and Celtic works, I
draw from Celtic sources, both traditional and modern, including
original compositions.
I play both six and twelve string guitar, and sing. I play a little tin whistle and bodhran. Over the years, I've played all sorts of places in and around Pittsburgh. I'm a veteran of the coffee house circuit, back in the 1960s. I
perform under the name "DruidSong" when
doing solo work. this reflects, in part, my current emphasis on music
drawn from various Celtic sources. It should
NOT be taken
as implying that I follow the "old
religion", or any other, for that matter.
In addition to working alone,
I work with
the band Hiraeth. Before them, I worked with Twisted Knickers, now,
sadly, defunct. Both bands perform Celtic music.
